Custom laser etching can create some fine, exquisite work. Not only in
artwork, such as glass murals and so on, but in smaller items. Fifty
years ago, corporate etiquette had it that executive pen sets, pocket
watches, and silver cigarette cases were all great Corporate Gift Ideas,
but how easy was it to create customized, personalized pens, watches
and cases before the advent of laser art?
What laser designs allow you to do in the workplace is provide your
work friends, coworkers, clients, and just about anybody you hope to
make a good, strong impression on, with a unique, custom gift.
This works to your benefit in two ways...
1- It shows that you care. It shows your client that you appreciate his
or her business, and it shows coworkers that you appreciate their
efforts in the workplace. Besides, they’re probably tired of receiving
wall calendars and Pepperidge Farms cheese sampler packs at every
single Christmas party.
2- It proves that yes, you do indeed know how to spell their last name!
Laser prints can be a little too much for smaller gifts, such as
handing out at the office parties. But, a customized piece of office
wall artwork can make a wonderful impression on a new client, or a
friend who lands a big promotion.
What’s more, Laser Designs
can be crafted onto just about any material you can dream of, meaning
that you can match any office space’s decor. If your office is all
about class, you can commission a laser etched work out of glass,
marble, or stone. If you’d rather put forth a less imposing atmosphere,
you can use steel, or even wood.
Alternately, you don’t need to go all out. A custom bronze nameplate
for the desk shows care and attention without having to spend too much
or go overboard. Another great, smaller gift would be an engraved
coffee mug. Again, laser etching works on just about anything, meaning
that you can add a personal touch to almost any gift you can think of
giving. This allows for you to give big gifts, small gifts, and just
about anything else, and still have it feel a little more special, more
important to the recipient, thanks to the more personal nature that
engraving lends to the item.
Of course, you should know when to give what. Coffee mugs, stationary
kits, smaller gifts like that make a great impression at an office
party or for a birthday. Custom engraved artwork is a memorable way to
spruce up a new office. A six foot by twelve foot mural that takes up
an entire wall, a floor medallion that stretches across the entire
lobby floor, well... That’s great if you just landed a big client and
you want to make a strong impression, but it’s a little much for...
well, just about anything else.
It may be worth noting, of course, that laser engraving won’t work on
those Pepperidge Farms gift boxes. We all love cheese, sausage, and
crackers, but they just get burnt when you try to personalize them with
laser engraving.
